TSLE Wedding: James & Regina’s Modern San Francisco Wedding

JR 1When it comes to your wedding day, why not arrive in style?  That’s exactly what bride Regina did on her special day – arriving in grandeur alongside her father in a white vintage Silver Dawn Rolls Royse.   That classic feel with a modern twist was carried throughout the duration of Regina and James’ San Francisco wedding.JRWearing a Vera Wang gown that stopped all bystanders in their tracks, the bride walked down the aisle at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, which she attended primary school as a very young girl.  The stairs leading to and from the church were adorned with garland and black and white striped ribbon.  That subtle striped theme was carried throughout the duration of the event.JR2Once the ceremony was over, the bride and groom stepped out to a receiving line of guests and were showered with white rose petals.  Guests rode in cable cars that made their way through the Presidio and dropped them off at the Legion of Honor where the reception was taking place.  Cocktail hour was held in the Rodin Gallery, which had been beautifully decorated with sequin black linens and lush floral arrangements of anemones, white ranunculus, veronica, roses and lilac.JR 3Before making their way downstairs for dinner, guests stopped at the large framed escort board display that was adorned with striped place cards and fabric covered black magnets.  Dinner took place in the café, which was glowing warmly with hundreds of mercury glass vases, white linens and black napkins that had been tied with striped ribbon and a sprig of thyme.  Guests got down on the dance floor, had fun in the photo booth and stayed full on a late night snack of mini grilled cheese and tomato soup.  The night was capped off perfectly with a grand sparkler exit.
